Cookies are small pieces of data stored or accessed on a device by websites and related services. Some are necessary for a requested feature; others can support measurement, preferences or advertising.
By default, the ALIFY theme does not intentionally set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies in its own JavaScript. Hosting, security layers or future integrations may change that behavior and must be assessed before launch.
1. Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Current ALIFY theme configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Support security, network delivery or a feature specifically requested by the visitor. | No first-party application cookie is intentionally created by the supplied JavaScript. Infrastructure providers may use necessary technologies depending on deployment. |
| Preferences | Remember settings or choices between visits. | Not intentionally enabled in this theme configuration. |
| Analytics | Measure visits and interaction to improve a site. | Not intentionally enabled in this theme configuration. |
| Advertising / targeting | Build audiences, measure campaigns or personalise advertising. | Not intentionally enabled in this theme configuration. |
2. Consent for non-essential technologies
If ALIFY later enables analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage/access technologies, a consent mechanism should be implemented before those technologies run where applicable law requires prior consent. The mechanism should allow a real choice and make it as straightforward to withdraw or change that choice as it was to give it.
3. Third-party embeds
Embedded video, maps, scheduling tools, social media, analytics or other third-party components can set or access their own cookies. Before such components are added to production, their data behavior and consent requirements should be reviewed and reflected in this policy and any cookie controls.
4. Browser controls
Most browsers let you block, delete or limit cookies through their settings. Blocking necessary technologies may affect site features. Browser settings do not necessarily control every form of local storage or tracking technology.
5. Changes
This policy should be updated whenever the deployment, analytics stack, embeds, advertising tools or consent configuration changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
Manage analytics choice
You can clear the consent choice stored by this theme on this browser and make a new selection.
Current analytics configuration
No GA4 or Google Tag Manager identifier is currently configured in ALIFY Theme Settings. The theme does not intentionally load those analytics integrations until one is configured and analytics consent is granted.
